Century Energy Pvt. Ltd. is a company registered at the Office of the Company Registrar on the 31st of Shrawan, 2068 B.S. (approximately mid-August 2011 A.D.) to construct and operate a small hydropower project on the Hadikhola river, which flows through Tripurasundari Rural Municipality-1 and Bahrabise Municipality-1 and 2 in Sindhupalchok District. The company has constructed a 997-kilowatt project on the Hadikhola river, which has been in regular operation for the past four years. Currently in its 12th year of operation, the company has 86 shareholders.
