It is with great pride and a sense of accomplishment that I address you today as the Chairman of Century Energy Ltd. Our journey, which began with a vision to harness the power of Hadikhola river, has culminated in the successful operation of a 997-kilowatt hydropower project. This milestone is not just a testament to our commitment and hard work but also a beacon of sustainable development and community empowerment. Since our establishment on Shrawan 31, 2068 B.S., we have navigated numerous challenges and seized opportunities that have paved the way for our current success. Our project has been operational for the past four years, providing reliable energy to the surrounding areas and contributing to the national grid. This achievement is a result of the collective efforts of our dedicated team, supportive shareholders, and the trust placed in us by the community. As we enter our 12th year of operation, it is important to reflect on the journey we have undertaken and the milestones we have achieved. Our recent transition to a limited company on Ashadh 21, 2080 B.S., marks a new chapter in our story, symbolizing our growth, stability, and readiness to embrace future challenges and opportunities. Our success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our 86 shareholders, the expertise of our directors - Dr. Krishna Prasad Dulal, Mr. Tirtha Kumar Singh, Mr. Khadka Bahadur Shrestha, Mrs. Anu Niraula Basnet, and Mr. Vishow Prakash Gautam - and the resilience of our community. Together, we have laid a strong foundation for a sustainable and prosperous future. Looking ahead, our commitment to excellence remains steadfast. We will continue to explore new avenues for growth, invest in innovative technologies, and uphold our responsibility towards the environment and society.
